MathChallenge - THAILAND

Our students participated in the their first international Math Challenge Tournament.
The tournament was held on the 17th and 18th of November, 2015 in Bangkok; the Pan-Asia International School organized it with 11 countries in attendance.

The team had been in Thailand for 4 days, for the Math Challenge, from 17th November to 21st November. The competition for grade 7,8,9 was held on 18th November.

The tournament consisted of 453 students in 160 teams from 33 schools. As Boys Section, Uttara Campus, we joined the Math Challenge Olympiad with 5 students from grade 9.

As team category; students participated eagerly in teams of 3, their total scores from the first round determined which of the 4 winning teams would participate in the final round and also each and every student competed as individuals.

The Award ceremony took place in Pan Asia School with the participation of deputy minister of Culture of Thailand.  The students of ITHS got 3 bronze medals in individual, year 9 level category.
