Biochemistry Olympiad

Dhaka University’s Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Department organized the daylong function in order to encourage students to study biochemistry in future and conduct researches in the eld. International Turkish Hope School is represented by 20 students in this event. Students feel very exited in the historical campus. After registration and an exam, we took a tour in biochemistry department. We had a chance to ask some question to the professors in laboratories about their researches. Some students from different universities had some projets with posters and they give presentation about their projects. Students from different schools ask very interesting questions to the professors in interaction sessions. All activities are very enjoyable, but the most exited moment was prize distributing ceremony. Making their way through the huge number of secondary and higher secondary students participating in the 7th Biochemistry Olympiad, participants from International Turkish Hope School once again proved the glaring potential of their school by securing the 1ST POSITION in the SSC/O’ Level category in the Olympiad. Najia Sharmin stood FIRST and Humaira Binte Quaid secured the THIRD position in individual category. Right after a scintillating performance in their IGCSE and A’ Level examinations in the May/June 2015 session, this outstanding achievement in the 7th Biochemistry Olympiad certainly makes the school proud of its’ students. ITHS would like to thank the Biochemistry Department of Dhaka University for arranging such a festive competition and look forward to such contests in the future.
