Manarat Inter School Football tournament
On the 17th to 19th March a three days long Inter-School Football Tournament was organized by Manarat International School Dhaka. The tournament was held in two categories U-14 and U-19. Our school participated in U-14 category. In the group stage , we defeated with ASIS with triumphant score of 8-0 and Manarat-Blue team with2-0 score. With this victory we qualified for the semi-finals. In the semi-finals we had beaten Manarat-Gold tea...m with a score of 2-0 again. With this victory, we went through the final. In the finals, we had a glorious victory of 1-0 score and became the champions. The captain of ITHS Ahosanul Karim Rifat achieved the Best Player of the Tournament award. The prizes were distributed by Mr. Abul, the member of BFF and the team manager of National Football Team along with the principal of Manarat International School of Dhaka.
INDEPENDENT DAY ANNUAL SPORTS -2016
Last 16th March 2016, ITHS hosted ITHS Independent Day Annual Sports. About 100 students participate in 3 categories class 6-7, class 8-9, class 10-12. At the morning, Mr. Zubayir Bayram (the Head of section) starts the competition. After finishing the competition, Mr. Hakan (The deputy Head of ITHS) and other teacher distributed the prize among the winners. In the competition, Tanveer from the class 6-7 was selected as THE BEST SPORTS MAN. At the end, the sports director, Mr. Younus thanked everyone and declared the ending of the ceremony.
7th Biochemistry Olympiad
Making their way through the huge number of secondary and higher secondary students participating in the 7th Biochemistry Olympiad, participants from International Turkish Hope School once again proved the glaring potential of their school by securing the 1ST POSITION in the SSC/O’ Level category in the Olympiad. Najia Sharmin stood FIRST and Humaira Binte Quaid secured the THIRD position in individual O'Level category. Dhaka University’s Biochemistry and Molecular Biology De...partment organized the daylong function in order to encourage students to study biochemistry in future and conduct researches in the field. The function featured inauguration program, quiz test, poster exhibition, interaction sessions and prize distributing ceremony in participation with more than 2000 O-Level or secondary school and A-Level or higher secondary students from Dhaka and other districts. Right after a scintillating performance in their IGCSE and A’ Level examinations in the May/June 2015 session, this outstanding achievement in the 7th Biochemistry Olympiad certainly makes the school proud of its’ students. ITHS would like to thank the Biochemistry Department of Dhaka University for arranging such a festive competition and look forward to such contests in the future.
Scholastica Inter-school Football Tournament
Last 11th and 12th March, with the help of 4no. Kallan Shometi, Scholastica arranged a football tournament. In three groups nine teams participated from eight schools. Scholastica and Rajuk met each other in the 1st semi-finals. There, Rajuk defeated Scholastica by 2-0 and went through to the finals. In second semi-finals ITHS faced DRMC in a competitive match. The match got no result after ending the decided time. So, extra time w...as played. After the extra time the scoreboard still displayed 1-1. So, the match went for penalties to get a winner. There, ITHS won by 3-0 and entered the final to face Rajuk. The final was full of competition where ITHS lost 2-1 and was honored to be the runners-up. At the end, principal of Scholastica distributed prizes among the achievers. Arif from class 9 from ITHS was named the best player of the tournament.
By participating in these kinds of tournaments, players build up competitive mentality as well as become aware of the rules and regulation of the game more accurately. They are able to represent the school as well as their individual ability.

ITHS SUPER CUP 2016
International Turkish Hope School organized interschool football tournament ITHS super cup from 24th February 2016. In ITHS super cup 20 renowned schools from Dhaka city like ISD, Scholastica, AKS, CIS, South Breeze, Sunbeams, Manarat participated. In three categories of U-14, U-16, U-19 Total 47 teams and about five hundred players took part. 1000 spectators including 200 parents enjoyed the whole tournament. ANONTEX was the sponsor of this tournament. In this 4-day tournament at first 69 match group stage match has been played then from every group one team directly qualified for the semi-final.
In the category of U-14 ITHS Red defeated Green Herald by two goals to nil to proceed to the finals. In the second semi-final AKS defeated Scholastica by one goal. In the final match ITHS vs AKS no goal scored by any team during the match time. So, the game extended to extra time. The winner was not determined and the match got into Penalty shootout. ITHS U-14 earned the pride of becoming winner by defeating 4-2 in tiebreaker. Ahsanul Karim Rifat was selected the best player and Bishal was the top scorer.
In U-16 category 16 teams participated by being divided into 4 groups. 4 group champions ITHS Red, Scholastica, DPS and ITHS Blue proceeded to the semi-finals. In the first semi-final between ITHS Red vs ITHS Blue. ITHS Red defeated ITHS Blue by 2 goals. In the second semi-final Scholastica Mirpur defeated DPS by 2-1 to go to the final. 2000 students and parents enjoyed the final match which was between strong site ITHS Red vs Scholastica Mirpur. The Best player was given to Shariful Islam and the top scorer was Rafiul Islam.
In U-19 category 15 teams participated by being divided into 4 groups. 4 groups Champions ITHS RED, Scholastica, Sir John Wilson and AKS proceeded to the semi-finals. In the first Semi-Final between ITHS RED defeated Sir John Wilson by 1 goal. In the second Semi-Finals Scholastica defeated AKS by 2-1. In the final match ITHS vs Scholastica no goal scored by any team during the match time. So, the game extended to extra time. The winner was not determined and the match got into Penalty shootout. ITHS U-19 earned the pride of becoming winner by defeating 4-3 in tiebreaker. The best player was Ragib Hasan and the top scorer was Naib Khan.
ITHS SUPER CUP was broadcasted on Bangladesh Television (BTV). The announcement of the Opening match between U-14 ITHS RED vs DPS was done by the Vice Principal of ITHS, Mr. Yavuz Koca. Alongside him was the Deputy Head of ITHS, Hakan Gokalp. After the Final matches, both Yavuz Koca and Hakan Gokalp distributed Medals and Trophies to the winners and runners up.
The main Organizer of the tournament Mr. YOUNUS ALI, Athletic Director, ends the tournament by thanking the Chief Guest, Special Guest, Participating Teams, Coaches, Managers, Students, Volunteers, Parents, Office Staffs.
