TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT '14

         Table Tennis Tournament has ended. Final match played between Tashmid(11) and Faisal(8). Tashmid won the match and became the champion of Table Tennis Tournament '14. He became champion also last year. Champions got their awards from Zubeyir Sir. Thanks to PE Teacher Younus Ali  Sir for organizing such a good Tournament

CHAMPION HASN'T CHANGED IN BADMINTON TOURNAMENT

       The last champion, Md. Rakip Hasan , won the final match against Shariful Islam today. He has been showed that he is the best in Badminton, again. There were two categories; 6 to 8 and 9 to 12 and he became champion in 9-12 category. Now, he is in class 9 and he has 3 more years in ITHS. His opponents must work hard to take the cup from him, next year.  Rakip got his first cup when he was in class 8. He got the cup consecutively 2 times. Who knows, may be he will make it 5. 

       In the 6-8 category, Fuhad (7B) and Ryan (8C) played the final match. Fuhad won the final match and become champion.

ITHS BECAME RUNNER UP in AIS\D TOURNAMENT

                 ITHS became runner up in AIS\D tournament. We play against, the home team, AIS\D. We got many chances to score but we couldn't finish. Tashin scored the first goal at the match in the beginning of second half. However we conceded a goal at stoppage time and we lost the match in penalties. We got second place...

Thank to all ITHS players. They all played well but luck wasn't with them this time.

Assessment tests for Class 6,7 and 8 students has ended today. Now, this is the time to see who are the best students. Assessment Test Results will be shown in our blog on Wednesday next week.

ITHS became group leader at AIS\D Tournament and  This coming Thursday, December 4th,  ITHS Football Team  will play against AISD A (5:00pm) for the championship. We are sure that ITHS Football Team will bring another trophy.

ASSESSMENT TEST ANNOUNCEMENT

         Assessment Tests for class 6,7,8 students are going to be started on this Tuesday. There are three assessments; Language Test, Math&ICT Test and Science Test. Both Girls Section and Boys Section students are going to give same exams. After exams, high achievers are going to be awarded.

ITHS BOYS SECTION had a great weekend inviting parents of class 7 to a wonderful breakfast. After the breakfast; parents and stundents enjoyed badminton game all together and we were suprised to see parents beating their children! :)

This week, quarter final matches will be played in class 9-12 category and 
second round matches will be played in class 6-8 category. 

AIFT CHAMPIONS - this time U16 -

'Hardworking' and 'dedication' showed their result this time in AIFT.
We are the champion in U16 category.

We got a cup in AIFT but it was long time ago...
- In that tournament, we beat the host team 8-0. (yes, serious) -

Our U16 team beat AKSD in the final and became champion.

SUNBEAMS SUPER CUP CHAMPIONS

Our U19  team became champion again in Sunbeams Super Cup. Thanks to whole team for making us proud again and again. Special thanks to our 'dedicated coach' Arif Khan.

Junior THIFT

Recently, on the 17th and 18th of October, 2014, International Turkish Hope School, for the first time ever has organized a “Turkish Hope Inter-School Junior Football Tournament” (Junior THIFT) for players in the Under-12 and Under-13 age categories. A total of 13 English medium schools participated in the tournament. In the U-12 finals, by defeating Australian International School in a 3-2 penalty shootout stage, International Turkish Hope School emerged as the champion. In the U-13 finals, International Turkish Hope School received the champions’ title as well by reigning victorious over Chittagong Grammar School in a 1-0 match. After the tournament, an award presentation ceremony was held where Mr. Moinul Ahsan was present as the chief guest. Awards were distributed by the chief guest, Mr. Bedrettin Suata (ITHS Principal), Mr. Yavuz Koca (ITHS Vice Principal) and Mr. Zubeyir (Head Of Senior Boys’ Section). Finally, Physical Director, Md. Inter-Class Football Tournament

On 02 to 24 September, 2014, I.T.H.S. Inter-Class Football Tournament was held from class 6 to 12 and a total of 12 teams participated. At the end of the tournament class 10-B became the champions by beating class 8-B. Head of section of boys section, Mr. Zubeyir Bayram, distributed the awards amongst the winners.  Physical Director Mr. Younus arranged the tournament.

-DPS TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT- TROPHY AGAIN !

 On 19th and 20^th April, DPS Interschool Table Tennis Tournament was organized, where 130 competitors from 10 different schools participated in 2 categories. In the competition through individual and team total points, International Turkish Hope School gained the runners-up trophy. The vice principal of DPS distributed the awards among the winners.

ANNUAL SPORTS DAY 2014

ITHS sport meet, 2014 culminated on 7^th March 2014. ITHS students belonging to classes 6-12 divided into four categories vied in the 20 different sport events. The principal of ITHS hoisted the national flag and declared  the event open. The Principal of ITHS Mr. Bedrettin Suata as chief guest, Vice Principal Mr.Yavuz Koca as special guest, Head of Senior Section, Mr.Zubeyir Bayram, Head of Junior Section, Mr.Isa Guler and Senior Section Deputy Head Idris Koken accompanied with other teachers of ITHS viewed the performance of the contestants. Following competitions, prize giving ceremony was conducted and medals and certificates were given out to the winners. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Physical Director, Mr. Younus Ali of ITHS.

THANK YOU CHAMPIONS

The SIFT (Scholastica Interschool Football Tournament) started on 27th February. It was held in the RAB-1 field and unlike other tournaments it was 11 a side. There were three groups in the tournament and the semi-final was with the group champions and the best runner up.

The first match was vs Greenherald which we won 2-0.

The second and the last match of the group stage was vs CGS. They scored from penalty in the first half but in the second half of the game our best player -Murfat- also the top scorer of the tournament scored two goals in few minutes and we were the group champion.

The semi-final was with the best runner up which was Pledge Harbour. Unlike other matches it was an easy match. The score was showing 4-1 when the referee blew his whistle. Now the only thing was to wait for our opponent. The other semi-final was between Scholastica red and Scholastica blue. The Scholastica blue defeated the red team and became our opponent in the final match.

The final match was in the afternoon around 3:30. Both of the schools principals were there to watch the final match. Everything was ready and the match started with the referees whistle. It was a well played match. The match was 0-0 till the very end but than our number 10-striker Murfat Uz-Zaman showed up and scored in the very last minute and we were the champions. And the rest was happiness, cups and medals. It was a great tournament. After the SSC 2014 we also won the SIFT 2014. Now the only thing left to wait for the THIFT(Turkish Hope Interschool Football Tournament)and gain another cup for our school…

ITHS U-18 FOOTBALL TEAM BECAME CHAMPION

The SSC (Sunbeams Super Cup) started on Thursday vs Greenherald which we won 1-0.
The next day in the morning our match was vs ISD. We had so many opportunities to score but the match was a draw. Then the last match of the group was ISD vs Greenherald. However Greenherald didn’t come to play the match. So the group champion was decided by penalties which we won 2-1.

JUNIOR FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Final round of the Junior Football League of International Turkish Hope School (I.T.H.S) culminated on Monday, the February 03, 2014. About 200 contestants vied in the competitions. Principal, Mr.Bedrettin Suata, Principal of  TBCCI, Fikret Çiçek, Vice Principal, Mr.Yavuz Koca and Head of Section, Mr. Zubeyir Bayram accompanied with other teachers of ITHS viewed the performance of the teams. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Physical Director, Mr. Younus Ali of ITHS following the distribution of prizes to the winners.
